Buddha's work precedes Krishna’s.

Re: a possible integration between Buddhism and Integral Yoga? by RY Deshpande on Mon 20 Nov 2006 03:29 AM PST Profile Permanent Link Sri Aurobindo revealed the secret of the Veda. It will be wrong to ask why he didn’t do in the case of Buddhism. But he puts Buddha as one of the ten Avatars of Vishnu. Not only that; he mentions that historically, though he came afterwards, his work precedes Krishna’s. But I find the Mother’s Sakyamuni-experience very significant. Is it not Vedic in character, opening the possibility of integration with the Integral Yoga?
